So, the folks at SM totally ignored my mention of them at a post I made over at X. Pretty much what I expected from whatever semblance of “customer service” they have over there. I’ll just share the photos here too, at least for my own reference. I’m not really relying on them to take action over this matter.

The supermarket in question is the SM Hypermarket at Socorro in Quezon City. I buy some stuff there once in a while so I know this was not the first time that the air-conditioning of the facility was either not working or the manager of the place deliberately lowers the thermostat to the detriment of their frozen goods. I just noticed that the state of the AC appeared be the worst on the day I took the photos above, as the frozen meats have totally thawed out in the open shelves of the Meat Section.

As mentioned in the X post, the employee I reported the issue about arrogantly told me to speak to the supervisor myself about whatever beef I have with the meats. Obviously, staff weren’t helpful or totally uncaring about the condition of the things that they sell. Anyway, I’m not really surprised considering how SM shabbily treats their underpaid temporary workers.
